Review: God’s Favorite Customer by Father John Misty

Everyone’s favorite pretentious cynic is back with yet another existential, dread-inducing masterpiece. On June 1, singer-songwriter Josh Tillman released his fourth album, God’s Favorite Customer, as his sardonic alias Father John Misty.  Already, the album has garnered acclaim with Pitchfork labeling it Best New Music, and Rolling Stone calling it a “Lennon-esque Pleasure”.

Review: Drake’s Scary Hours

I am not a Drake fan– all of his music sounds the same to me, and that is exactly how I feel about his new EP, Scary Hours. The two songs released, “God’s Plan” and “Diplomatic Immunity” are essentially little diary pieces from Drake, which is cool and all, but all of his music just kind of sounds like “Hotline Bling” to me.
