For a lot of students prior to the year 2020, the thought of going to school was a nightmare. More precisely, the act of waking up at the crack of dawn, racing to the bathroom and brushing your teeth, shoving two slices of bread down your throat to then hurl yourself into a classroom with people you barely liked was nauseating… and yet, there is something about this traditional style of education that I miss so much.
Fuck. That’s the only word appropriate right now, in all honesty. Ruth Bader Ginsburg passed away last week at the age of 87.
It is with a heavy heart that I write this article. As I am sure you all already know, legendary actor Chadwick Boseman passed away on August 28th, 2020 from Colon Cancer at the age of 44. This sorrowful news seemed to appear suddenly leaving us all shocked as his family first announced news of his passing through his twitter account. For four years, Boseman battled cancer enduring multiple surgeries all while working on films such as Black Panther, Avengers Infinity War, Avengers Endgame, Gods of Egypt, etc. Through all of this, he kept his diagnosis hidden from the public, showing just how hardcore he was.
I know what you’re thinking. “Why would you even suggest something like this. Do you honestly think Democrats should move to the right in this upcoming election cycle?”
Of course not. I’d like to think I’m a pretty liberal guy, our system should work for everyone. However, when it comes to organization and strategy, the Democrats have not exactly had the best strategy for dealing with Trump in the past few elections.
Maybe Kanye will give us all Yeezys though. That would be nice.
