Important Announcement Regarding the Future of the paper

Hello loyal readers,

First of all, I want to thank you all for your enthusiastic support over the past few months. Since launching our website, the paper has really grown in viewership and quality of content. I personally feel that we are at the peak of our journalistic excellence, and we couldn’t get there without the continued support of our loyal readers.

That’s why, dear readers, I feel obligated to announce to you that the paper is going in a new direction. Our increased viewership has brought us to the attention of another group on campus–a publication you may be familiar with. Yes, none other than The Ram, Fordham’s premiere publication, has taken noticed of our content of late. In fact, they were so impressed that they made us an offer. They made us an offer that, as the saying goes, we couldn’t refuse.

To that end, I am happy to announce that the paper will now officially be a part of The Fordham Ram.

What does that mean for you, dear readers? The change, we hope, should be seamless. You’ll still be getting all the content that you expect from us: all our regular contributors, editors, and staff members will have the full editorial freedom that we have always treasured. However, some of our pieces will appear in the print edition of the Fordham Ram, and the rest will be online. the paper will cease to be a printed publication. Additionally, thanks to the large budget of The Ram and our reduced printed costs, we’ll have even more resources to make our website the best it can be, and maybe to host fun events!

More details about the change will be released in the next few weeks. In the meantime, gang, thank you for sticking with us. And to our new family over at the Fordham Ram, welcome, and we’re happy to be on the same team!

Regards,

the paper staff
